2026.03.15

Hello! We are going to write about the 13th and 14th of March. This article is brought to you by Minori and Rina.

March 13th  Last day at Holland Park High School

1. Science experiment

Today is our last day at Holland Park High School. We had a science experiment. We made a Lava lamp which has colored lava blobs slowly rise up and fall down in the liquid. We talked about the mechanism and actually made it. The explanation was, of course, in English but we could understand it because we had already learned about that chemical reaction in our class in Tennoji!

2. Farewell ceremony

After we had some class with our buddies, we had an Australian style BBQ! We ate Aussie sausages. While we prepared for BBQ and ate, we talked a lot, took some photos, and played We laughed out loud!! We really enjoyed our last time with Holland Park students!

I’ll miss them so much when we leave school, but I believe that we will meet them again someday!

Thanks to kind teachers and friendly students, we had a great time and made wonderful lifetime memories!!

March 14th The last whole day with our host family

1.Feel the great nature here in Brisbane  ~

On Saturday, we spent time according to the host family since we had no school. In our case, after breakfast, we visited Mt.Coot-tha and enjoyed a great view from the summit.

Before lunch, we saw the chickens that our host mother’s daughter has. We tried to feed them. I had never imagined that I could feed chickens before coming here!

Both Mt.Coot-tha and chicken experiences can’t be had in my hometown with little nature.

2. Spend the last afternoon of this trip ~

For lunch, we ate an Aussie meal, sausage sizzles, which is the same as what we had yesterday at a BBQ.

After that, we met Nanaho and Aoi and chatted with them. Finishing packing, we had the last dinner with our host mother. It was meatball spaghetti and garlic toast!

Finally, tomorrow is the leaving day. We feel sad and want to stay here longer. However, at the same time, we can’t wait to see our family and friends. We are looking forward to talking about our invaluable experience!!

3. Review the program ~

Looking back, we had a great time during this trip. I hope that you get interested in this program and apply for it in the future.

To finish this article, on behalf of the ten students, I’d like to say thank you to all the readers for enjoying our post for about 2 weeks!
