【第27回オーストラリア派遣】滞在レポート（4）

March 11th

1. Visit to Chang Cian Temple ─遠足で台湾のお寺を訪れる─

We went to Chang Tian Temple with students from Holland Park State High School. We made and drank oolong tea in a tea ceremony, and wrote kanji in a calligraphy experience. We also listened to an explanation about Buddha in the main hall. We took turns ringing the bell and made a wish.

2. Playing Volleyball Outside ─みんなで外でバレーボール！─

When we returned to school, we played volleyball outside together. Some people joined us in the middle of the game. The sun was very strong and it was hot, but we enjoyed it.

March 12th　School Life in Australia ─学校での1日─

1. 音楽

In the first period, we had a music class. First, we watched a band play. There were three electric guitar players, two singers, and one drummer. Their music was very cool. After that, we were divided into a classical guitar group and a drum group. A teacher and two students taught us. We played “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.” It was fun.

2. 英語

In the second period, we joined an English class with our buddies. Our buddies were making a story on the computer. We talked with them a lot. We learned that they have very few test subjects, only about two. I was surprised.

3. 4月の発表に向けて

In the third period, we worked in groups and did research. We talked to people and shared our ideas. One group researched the student council. They compared it with the student council at our school. They talked to the leader and learned many things.

4. 技術

In the fourth period, we had a technology class. We made smartphone stands with koala and kangaroo designs. We used a laser to draw pictures and words on wood. Then, we painted them. It was very fun.

Our time in Australia is coming to an end. I want to make every day count.
